Workshop: The Art of Letting Go

Embrace the beauty of the unexpected in this immersive workshop hosted by the Brighton Arts & Culture Council (BACC). Set within the serene Presqu'ile Waddling Arts Centre, we invite you to explore the vibrant, fluid world of watercolour and alcohol ink on the unique, non-porous surface of Yupo paper.

Painting, much like life, is a balance of intention and surrender. You can guide the pigment, but you cannot fully control it. In this session, we move beyond rigid techniques to find beauty in unpredictable paths. You will learn to work with the movement of the medium, leaning into the philosophy of "guide, not control."

Whether you are a lifelong artist or a curious beginner, all are welcome to join this meditative creative experience. All materials are provided, so you can simply show up, accept the movement, and enjoy the journey.
