About the event

All ages welcome, this is an Intergenerational Workshop. This workshop is a special Art Therapy session offered by visiting therapist Danya Loyola.

In this workshop, we will explore the importance of shared stories and how our environments influence our identity. We will investigate examples of places in a home and neighbourhood that might evoke memories: colours, lights, temperatures, and smells. We will encourage all participants to ask open-ended questions during the activity, fostering deeper and more meaningful narratives. We will also ensure that everyone has the opportunity to share their stories respectfully and express themselves creatively.

Objectives:

 * The participant demonstrates creativity and originality in their art creation.

 * The participant clearly presents their stories and their meanings.

 * The participant listens to and respects the contributions of their neighbours.
