Jewell Allington, is a Peteborough based oil painter.

Jewell's art is a clear example of the brilliant landscapes of the Kewarthas' and Georgian Bay areas. She captures the beauty of the changing seasons with the richness of their colour and as light creates a brilliance or shadows cast reflections on the water.

Beginning with a black canvas, then defining structures with cadmium orange, her finished landscapes exudes depth, bold strokes, luscious application of colour and hints of warm reds peeking through. Clients are drawn to the loose, impressionistic interpretation of the "all to familiar" and loved vistas of our North.
